Good hair and makeup begins with the right prep products which ensure lasting results. I use products which support, nourish and target your particular concerns and problem areas in order to achieve the desired result while caring for your skin and hair at the same time.

Whether you've got dry, oily or combination skin or your hair is fine, flat, frizzy, textured or curly you can be sure I've got specific products to cater for each individual concern. 

Luxurious Products

My professional kit is always kept up-to-date with fresh products of the highest quality - all of which I've tried, tested and know can be trusted!
Luxury and professional products are used to create your bespoke bridal look which will last for hours and hours. Bridal beauty preparations start early in the morning but are built to last ALL DAY & well into the night. Longevity of your look comes down to experience and skill in technique and application of high quality products whose ingredients work in harmony with each other, as well as with your own hair and skin type. The better care you take of your skin, the better your makeup results will be as your skin is the canvas. False lashes (individual clusters or strip) and hair padding + hair pins are included with all bookings. 

Individual Approach

Makeup & hairstyling isn't a one-size-fits-all thing, which is why I don't stick to one specific brand. I'm very selective with which products work best for me as an artist and help to achieve my clients' desired results, while bearing in mind what's needed for the look to hold up in different weather / lighting / media formats. The foundation colour range in my kit runs from the lightest to darkest shades and, being an artist, I can mix anything in between and adjust the undertones too which means I can cater to every skin tone out there. Don't forget I've lived and worked in South Africa too which is affectionately known as the Rainbow Nation :) 

Expert Touch

I choose professional, salon-quality hair products and tools that allow me to build and design romantic hairstyles that feel soft and touchable while having a strong enough foundation to last through all the hugs and dancing. Expert colour-matching and precise un-detectable application of hair extensions is available to all my brides. You won't see any crispy curls or visible teasing in sight here.

And for those who wish to embrace their natural curls for their big day - I'm also trained in working with natural hair textures so I'm here to make your curly-bride dreams come true!

Hygiene

A sanitised kit is of the utmost importance - as artists, we often work on many different clients in a row and it's our responsibility to ensure that only clean brushes, sanitised products and disposables are used so as not to cross-contaminate. I pride myself on a clean, organised kit which means soft brushes, fresh sponges and bacteria-free products are always used on my clients. To ensure kit hygiene I use ISO-Clean brush cleaner & cosmetic spray and Barbicide for hair bruhses.
