FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS

Q. I don’t have final numbers yet, can I still book or should I wait?

You can book at my minimum requirement of 4 services and then add others later on. Don’t delay booking as another bride may snap up your date in the meantime as I work on a first come-first served basis & peak dates go quickly. Most brides book 9-12 months in advance.

Q. Can you accommodate large bridal parties?

Yes! I have some incredible hand-picked, experienced support artists I regularly call upon for larger bookings or due to time constraints on the day. No need for you to try source extra artists, I'll take care of that for you.

Q. I’m worried I don’t have enough hair for the style I want - what can you do?

I’ve got you! You’ll be amazed at what can be achieved with some professional tricks. With my experience, knowledge and techniques I’ll help you create your dream style.

Q. I don’t usually wear makeup, can you make sure I still look like me?

Absolutely! I specialise in natural, glowing makeup to look like an elevated version of yourself - ensuring it works both in person & on camera while lasting all day long.

Q. How do previews (trials) work?

Previews are held 3-6 months before your wedding at my home studio in Milton Keynes (Mon-Thurs). They’re collaborative & highly recommended for best results on your wedding day.

Q. CAN I BOOK A PREVIEW/trial BEFORE SECURING MY WEDDING?

You may book a preview first, but know that I cannot hold your wedding date without a reservation fee, so the date remains open until secured with both the contract and reservation fee. I work on a first-come, first-served basis.
You may be nervous to book an artist without "trying" them first, but previews are a collaborative session to build your dream look, not to "test" the artist's skills. If you like my work and artistic style, the reviews left by past brides, the service I offer and you feel it aligns with your bridal vision then we'd be a great match! If you've still got questions we can have a quick call to clarify anything.

Q. What if I’m not happy with my PREVIEW?

I hope this never happens, as the process is very thorough, but you do have the option to either book in a second preview to try a different style/look or to cancel your booking as per the contract T&C’s. The reservation fee and preview payments are however non-refundable.

Q. What products do you use in your kit?

I use high-end, luxury & professional products and tools, catering to all skin and hair types - you can read more about what's in my kit right here

Q. How long do we need for hair & makeup on the day?

You’ll receive a tailored timeline for your beauty prep well in advance but as a guideline (depending on services) it’ll take approx.:
Bride - 1.5-3hrs
Bridal party - 45-90min pp
Ready 60-90min before ceremony time/departure

Q. WHO ARE YOUR SUPPORT ARTISTS?

Over the years I've built a network of talented support artists to call on for extra help on a wedding morning. I work with a select few trusted artists whose style and kit are similar to my own. They're reliable, lovely people and highly experienced - I'm not just bringing a junior artist, I'm bringing experienced professionals who I can fully trust to help bring everyone's dream looks to life. As they're also busy freelance artists, the sooner we know if you require any, the sooner I can secure them for your booking. There is an additional fee per support artist.

Q. WHAT DO YOU BRING ON A WEDDING MORNING?

I bring nearly everything but the kitchen sink! :)
- Hair and makeup kits (including any bobby pins / hair padding + false lashes).
- Lighting if needed
- Extension lead
- High makeup chair
* With so much in tow, and especially with multiple artists on the day, we kindly request decent sized surfaces to set up on (such as a dining table) ideally somewhere near a window/natural light. We'll also need some low-back chairs for hairstyling.

Q. We don’t have access to the venue until a certain time - what should we do?

We can start at one location and move across to the wedding venue later or we can book a support artist to speed up the process at the wedding venue. A location change fee and additional travel charges may apply.

Q. I have some junior bridesmaids / flower girls - can you help with them too?

Yes, flower girls usually get hairstyling and complimentary glitter & gloss to make them feel special. They'll often be last on the timeline as it's more practical that way and their hair is freshly done as close to the ceremony as possible.
Junior bridesmaids get hairstyling and a light, age-appropriate makeup application.

Q. CAN I BOOK YOU FOR JUST HAIR, OR JUST MAKEUP INSTEAD OF BOTH?

Yes, of course. Although I primarily get booked for both - bringing the convenience of you only needing to source and book one supplier for all your bridal beauty prep - you may also book me for either hairstyling or makeup. I'll work with your other artist/stylist to discuss the timeline for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Do you want to look like the most elevated version of yourself while feeling beautiful and confident as you walk down the aisle?
