I also wanted to share the experience with my daughter, stepdaughter and two best friends. The trial session several months in advance was really useful - I took away clear instructions to share with my hairdresser to ensure my hair could grow and be cut to deliver the result I wanted. It also gave me confidence in things I've never tried - such as fake eyelashes. Go for them! Make all the difference. Melissa was super-confident, super-calm, just made the day flow as one-by-one we climbed into her chair."

"I am so glad I found Melissa as my hair stylist on my wedding day. My hair was PERFECT. I have slightly curly hair with a lot of frizz so always nervous about any style staying in place - and it absolutely did, all day and all night despite a few drops of rain and a lot of dancing. She is super talented and a great professional. You NEED her on your wedding day.
Initial stages. Everything you need to know is super clearly explained before you book. We had a nice zoom chat to discuss my wedding plans and started discussing a few options.
Trial. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she simply nailed it right away!!! She also suggested adding some nice pearl accessories which I hadn’t thought about and we tried different styles for the veil. After the trial I got caught in heavy rain and wind for about 15 mins and as I got home I realised nothing had budged. Not a single bit of frizz. Just incredible, I couldn’t believe it. From that point I knew my hair was going to be perfect on the day.
On the big day. She did my hair + 3 of my bridesmaids. We all absolutely loved what Melissa did. She has great attention to detail and was doing little touch ups all morning, always keeping an eye on how my hair looked. She was super calm and nice and positive and helped create a great atmosphere as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. My bridesmaids all went for different styles, from ‘effortless’ blow dry to curls & volume or a more sophisticated up do, and they were so so pleased with the result and how it stayed in place all day all night. We were all ready ahead of schedule so there was really no stress and we just had a great time getting ready all together. She was super calm and nice and positive and helped create a great atmosphere as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. "

My hair and makeup trial was so worth it, as it gave Melissa enough time to learn my hair and skin. She absolutely blew me away with what she did. Melissa was also very understanding and willing to make last-minute changes to my updo days before the wedding. When the big day came, Melissa was calm and a joy to work with. I was a little scared of how we'd be able to come up with a do that would be what I wanted while also allowing for a veil comb and headpiece, but Melissa put my mind at ease and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I can't even express how much I loved the end result, and I appreciate Melissa and all she did so much. She even stayed to help me with the veil and gave me a little touch-up kit."
